So, you probably asking yourself how did I got here?

I have had an idea about a plugin that lets you add links to whatever in the admin bar, and edit, delete them, etc, for some time now.

And, I really want to write it in a good way, what is a good way you ask, I don’t fully know, I have a cloudy concept about it. But, I intend to learn about it! That’s the fun part. So I was thinking to myself, hmm there is a chance to learn about the best way to write WordPress plugins, how nice.

Well, another thought sprung (is that a real word) out from the previous one and echoed me herself through the link of the learn concept.

The thought was learning by teaching, of course I had to complicate the title of this post in order to make it fun (again, learning is fun) but the idea that the best way to learn is by teaching was lurking deep in my mind.

The plan

• I’ll build a plugin for my personal website.
• The plugin will add editable links to the admin bar.
• I’ll write it in the best and neatest way I can.
• I’ll learn how to do it.
• I’ll use the concept of learning by teaching.
• I’ll post my progress here on my website.
